Toots Privacy Policy

The short version

Toots doesn't collect any data about you. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your recordings stay on your iPhone and are never uploaded anywhere.

Microphone and recordings

Toots asks for microphone access only when you choose to record. The microphone is used for two features:

• Record your own fart (a paid feature): your recording is saved only on your iPhone, inside the app. It's never sent to us or anyone else. You can delete it in the app at any time, and deleting the app removes it too.
• Fart Identifier: your recording is analyzed on your iPhone and then deleted right away. It's never saved or sent anywhere.

You can turn microphone access off at any time in Settings › Toots › Microphone.

Data stored on your device

Toots saves a few things on your iPhone so the app works: your fart count and your sound setting. This stays on your device, and we can't see it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy policy covers these: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Children

Toots doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
